Free — 30 seconds
Notes, an old menu, a whiteboard photo's text — anything. Add cost after a | if you want margins: "Cuban sandwich $11.50 | cost 3.80".
Paste your menu — however messy. In a few seconds you get a clean bilingual menu ready to print, likely allergens flagged for you to verify, and, if you add food costs, the margin math on every item. No account. Nothing stored.
How it works
Notes, old menu, price list. Add costs with a | if you want margins. Nothing is saved.
Clean menu in English and Spanish, likely allergens flagged for you to verify.
Cost ÷ price per item, computed — and the print-ready page in the full version.
Why this exists
A bilingual menu sells more without a single price change, and most owners have never seen their food-cost percentage per item. Paste what you have; get both.
Plans
The free look cleans and translates the menu. The full version formats it for print and computes the margin table — update it any time menu prices change with the monthly plan.
The full bilingual menu formatted for print, allergen flags to verify, and the margin table. Printable.
For a menu that changes — specials, seasonal items, price updates — unlimited regenerations all month.
All prices in USD, handled by Stripe. The free look never goes behind a paywall.
Common questions
The first look is free. A print-ready menu is $9 (one menu), or $19/month on the Restaurant plan. Nothing you paste is stored, and no account is required.
Not without checking — every flag is labeled 'likely, verify.' MenuMio flags the FDA's nine major allergens based on a dish's name (like wheat in bread or dairy in tres leches), but allergen accuracy is the restaurant's legal responsibility, so verify every flag against your actual recipe before printing.
No. Items come out exactly as you priced them, and MenuMio never invents a price, cost, or ingredient. If an item's ingredients aren't stated or obvious from its name, it only shows the name and its Spanish translation.
Margins come only from the computed table — cost divided by price, using the numbers you typed, never guessed or estimated. MenuMio can only point out which priced items have the highest food-cost percentage; it does not suggest what anything should cost.
No, MenuMio only formats your menu and computes margins from your numbers; it isn't legal or food-safety advice. Home kitchens and food trucks have their own Florida rules, so check Cottage Food & Food Truck Check FL for that.
