Is There a Free Tool to Write Review Replies for My Small Business?

Use the free tool — Review Responder

What this tool does

Review Responder is a free writing aid for small business owners. You paste a customer review — good or bad — along with one line about your business and how you sound. It gives you back a reply in your voice, not a robot's.

For glowing reviews, it aims for a thank-you that doesn't sound canned. For angry, one-star reviews, it tries to acknowledge the complaint, stay calm, avoid admitting fault, and offer to take things offline — while quietly telling future customers what you do for everyone.

Is it really free?

How it works

  1. Paste the review. Stars, text, all of it. Add one line about your business and how you sound.
  2. Get a reply in your voice. Warm thanks for good reviews. For bad reviews: acknowledge, don't argue, don't admit fault, take it offline, mention what you do for everyone.
  3. Post it. Copy the reply into Google or Yelp. It works in English and Spanish, so you can paste a review in either language and get a reply back in that language.

What it won't do

A few honest notes

This is not legal advice. Review Responder is only a writing aid. The business owner is responsible for the accuracy of the reply and for following each platform's rules and privacy law. The tool is not affiliated with Google, Yelp, or Meta — check each platform's own posting rules before you publish anything.

If you're not sure whether a reply could create a legal problem — especially around health, financial, or identifying details — check with a professional before you post.

What to do next

The free tool reads your own review text and your one-line business description — nothing invented, nothing generic. Paste the review, get a draft back in your voice, read it carefully, then post it yourself.

Replies are drafts for the business owner to edit and approve; the owner is responsible for their accuracy and for complying with platform rules and privacy law (for example, HIPAA for healthcare practices — never confirm someone was a patient).
