What you'll need to describe

You describe your vehicles and a typical day. Specifically:

MPG, daily miles, towing, and where the vehicles park
Local gas prices and local electricity prices

What you get back

From that description, the tool shows cost per route both ways — gas and electric — including fuel vs. charging per day and per month, the maintenance difference, and what a depot Level 2 charger changes. Then it gives you a switch order: which vehicle to replace first, a payback range, the routes that should stay gas for now, and questions to bring to your electrician and the dealer.

What this tool is — and isn't

It's free for one route, and built for fleets of 2–25 vehicles. The material doesn't describe any cost beyond that first free route.
It uses the numbers you give plus typical EV efficiency figures, so the result is an estimate, not a quote.
Incentives change. Verify anything about incentives with the IRS and your utility before counting on them.
It follows public DOE AFDC methodology, but it doesn't know your vehicles' real-world efficiency, your utility's demand charges, or current incentive rules — all of which can change the answer materially.
It's not clear what happens to the vehicle and route details you enter after you submit them. If that matters to you, ask the provider directly before entering real fleet data.
