Which program actually pays for homeschooling
In Florida, home education funding mostly runs through the Personalized Education Program (PEP), created under the Personalized Education Program provisions. Depending on your child's situation, FES-EO, FES-UA, or FTC (Florida Tax Credit, Florida Statute 1002.395) may also apply — for example FES-UA is for students with disabilities under Florida Statute 1002.394. Which one fits your family depends on your child's grade, any IEP/504 or diagnosis, your income, and what you plan to spend the money on.
