We don't have a technical explanation for why a video call drops or a screen goes blank on a specific phone — that's not something this tool tries to diagnose. What we do know is simpler: apps and phone screens change with every software update, and a button can move without warning. This card doesn't fix the phone. It gives your grandparent the exact words and icons to look for, right now, on the phone they actually have.

How to make the card

- Get the card. Numbered steps with the exact words and icons on their screen, what to do when it goes wrong, big type.
- Print and tape. By the chair, on the fridge. Next visit, walk through it once together.
What this card cannot do
The steps are written for the phone and app you named, as they commonly appear. A software update can move a button, so the card may not match perfectly — that's why the tool suggests walking through it together on your next visit. This tool writes instructions from the phone model and app you tell it; it cannot see the device itself. It is not affiliated with Apple, Samsung, Google, Meta, Zoom, or any carrier.
Is it free? Is what I type in stored?
